Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety. The Kitchen Team Member will play a vital role in meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm, teamwork, and a commitment to quality.
Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food with proper safety and hygiene practices to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Support the team in stocking supplies and rotating stock to minimize waste
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling best practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in serving customers and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is a plus
