WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Coordinator Groups is responsible for coordinating all activities related to making group reservations and participating in the execution of daily tasks.
- Apply all procedures for group reservations and related activities;
- Prepare & follow up on group quotes and fulfill group reservations;
- Ensure evolving needs are addressed/communicated and deadlines are attained during the process, from initial quote to final booking, including payment process to payables and receivables;
- Liaise with the different departments involved in the booking process;
- Communicate schedule changes to our clients: Advise our clients of any air and / or land modification affecting their bookings;
- Manage all group pre-registration files once product has been built in the system;
- Prepare and send group agreements / contracts to travel agencies;
- Transmit all special requests and requested documents to proper intervening;
- Ensure proper documentation is forwarded to travel agencies;
- Prepare and submit requested reports to management and suppliers;
- Promote the services of Air Canada Vacations to travel agencies;
- Provide accurate details and information on group products to the travel agents;
- Maintain current and accurate group product knowledge, booking procedures and policies;
- Provide and maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism through telephone and public contacts;
- The above responsibilities are not intended to be all-encompassing. May perform other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Qualifications and skills required:
- College diploma in Tourism;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to prioritize work and solve problems;
- Strong communication and selling skills combined with initiative, flexibility and good judgment;
- Computer literacy (Excel and Word) is an asset;
- Good knowledge of ACV product offering;
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in both official languages (English and French);
- Available to work on rotational shifts.

Linguistic Requirements
When qualifications are equal, preference will be given to bilingual candidates. The position involves daily interactions with partners, clients, and colleagues located outside of Quebec.
