Event Sales & Booking Coordinator
Location: Downtown Toronto, ON
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: $20–$25/hour + Commission / Performance Bonuses
Job Summary
Studio of Legends is seeking a motivated and results-driven Event Sales & Booking Coordinator to generate new business and increase bookings for our private lounge and event space in Downtown Toronto.
This is a sales-focused position — not simply an event planning role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for actively finding new clients, responding to incoming inquiries, following up with leads, conducting venue tours, building partnerships and converting opportunities into paid bookings.
Our space can accommodate a variety of events including birthdays, private parties, listening events, corporate functions, networking events, showcases, content events, workshops and other private experiences.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable being measured on bookings, deposits and revenue generated.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Actively generate new event and private-booking leads
- Conduct outbound outreach to potential clients, businesses, event planners, promoters, organizations and community partners
- Respond quickly to incoming phone, website, social media and email inquiries
- Follow up consistently with leads until they book or decline
- Conduct venue tours and confidently present the space to prospective clients
- Convert inquiries and tours into paid bookings and deposits
- Build relationships with event planners, businesses, creators, promoters and organizations that can generate repeat business
- Develop partnerships and referral opportunities that bring new customers into the venue
- Re-engage previous customers and leads for future bookings
- Maintain an active pipeline of potential events and opportunities
Booking & Client Management
- Help clients select the appropriate event package based on their needs and budget
- Prepare quotes and booking information
- Confirm dates, event requirements and payment schedules
- Maintain an accurate booking calendar
- Collect and track deposits and outstanding balances
- Communicate event details clearly to the Lounge & Events Manager
- Maintain organized client records and follow-up notes
- Follow up after events to encourage reviews, referrals and repeat bookings
Revenue Growth
- Work toward weekly and monthly booking and revenue targets
- Upsell additional services and event enhancements where appropriate
- Identify opportunities to increase average booking value
- Track lead sources, conversion rates, bookings and revenue
- Report weekly sales activity and pipeline performance
- Help develop packages and promotions that increase venue utilization
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is confident, persistent, organized and comfortable selling.
You should have:
- Previous experience in sales, event sales, hospitality, venue bookings, business development or a similar customer-facing role
- Strong phone and in-person communication skills
- Ability to confidently follow up and ask for the sale
- Experience converting inquiries into paying customers
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple leads and bookings simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable working toward measurable sales targets
Experience in event venues, hospitality, nightlife, hotels, private clubs, entertainment, event planning or venue rentals is an asset.
Existing relationships with event planners, businesses, promoters or organizations are also considered an asset.

Compensation
$20–$25/hour based on experience
Additional commission and performance incentives are available for new business and revenue generated.
Candidates who consistently produce results will have opportunities for increased compensation and responsibility.
