Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing customer orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Previous experience in food and beverage service, especially in a restaurant or hospitality setting, is highly valued. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders, payments, and manage tabs efficiently.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, ensuring an enjoyable experience while addressing their needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy during transactions.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Assist in serving food items when required, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously with effective time management to serve guests efficiently during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in bars or restaurants.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately.
- Understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
- Food handling experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to serve alcohol legally according to local regulations.
