Position Overview
As a Powersports Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and preparing customer and inventory units while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency. You will work closely with our Service Advisors and Parts Department to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues
- Perform routine maintenance and manufacturer-scheduled services
- Complete PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspections) on new units
- Install accessories and performance upgrades
- Troubleshoot fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension, and driveline systems
- Accurately document repairs and recommendations on repair orders
- Maintain efficiency and productivity targets
- Follow all manufacturer procedures and safety standards
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Assist with seasonal setup and service demands
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of powersports technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience servicing ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, or marine products
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Preferred
- Experience with Polaris products
- Manufacturer training or certifications
- Experience with Ski-Doo, Can-Am, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, or Mercury products
- Electrical diagnostic experience
- MTO or relevant trade certifications
