Bookkeeping Assistant
- Review emails and address immediate items needing attention
● Moneris - all transactions verified in Spire clearing accounts and transfer to bank posted in Spire.
● Post deposits received to AR accounts on the company platform and confirm they have
been transferred over to Spire. If unable to record on platform; post only to Spire.
● File all payment copies in corresponding AR files
● Post any AP invoices given, in Spire
● Prepare and take bank deposits to BMO when required
● Mail taken to PO when required
● Review AR weekly and make collection calls when needed
● Prepare AP cheque payments when required
● File AR/AP invoices on a weekly basis to corresponding AR files
● Prepare files for 2026 - AR / AP / Payroll, etc.
● Prepare credit applications and reference follow ups
● Check mail when required
● Must be able to follow instructions easily and ask for clarification when need to
● Computer literate - Google Suite (email, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
● Clerical duties when required
Minimum 5 years experience preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18.0 per week
