Ta mission
In collaboration with the senior management, you are responsible for the production, processing and distribution of ready-to-eat meals. You will ensure the overall performance of the kitchens (central, satellite and Carrefour HE) and their central role in the production network.
Your role as a Food Operations Director consists of:
- Define, develop and deploy the overall strategy of the company's ready-to-eat offering, while acting as an ambassador for the sector and supporting change management;

Collaborate with operations, marketing teams and category managers to optimize sales, margins and promotional activities;

Ensure the management and optimization of kitchens (central, satellite and Carrefour HE), including planning, production, procurement and performance;

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and monitor food trends to propose new concepts;

Track and analyze budgets, sales, and performance, and make recommendations to improve results;

Supervise the team's human resources: participate in the recruitment, integration, training and evaluation of staff;

Identify development needs, support performance and maintain a healthy work environment;
-
Manage conflicts and disciplinary measures, coordinate schedules, leave and vacation to ensure continuity of operations;

Participate in salary reviews, ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies, and promote safe work practices.

To succeed in this role of Food Operations Director , you have:
- You have a bachelor's degree in administration, management or related field;
-
You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the food sector or a related field;

You have relevant experience in management or direction of operations;
-
You have solid experience in a food production, factory or processing environment;
-
You understand the realities of logistics, production and cost management;
-
You have a good knowledge of food regulations (MAPAQ);
-
You are recognized for your mobilizing leadership and your ability to influence and structure;
-
You demonstrate strategic vision, rigor and a strong sense of results;
-
You are comfortable in complex, fast-paced and changing environments.
