Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and garnishing to ensure efficiency during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to manage high-volume service periods smoothly
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail when handling ingredients, plating, and presentation
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude under pressure
- Familiarity with serving protocols and meal presentation standards is a plus
