Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials.
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff for food preparation and delivery.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering, processing payments, and providing correct change.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly with a positive attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
Experience
- Prior food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; familiarity with the food industry enhances your ability to excel in this role.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is highly valued.
- Strong time management skills are essential to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is necessary to ensure guest safety.
- Basic math skills are required for accurate cash handling and billing processes.
- Previous restaurant experience involving serving, cashiering, or kitchen support will help you adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment.
- A passion for guest services combined with excellent communication skills will enable you to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
