Overview
Best Western Fireside Inn is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a valued member of our housekeeping department, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring our rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is an asset, but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms to Best Western brand standards
- Make beds, change linens, and restock amenities
- Clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and sanitize all surfaces
- Ensure rooms are fully prepared for arriving guests
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, storage areas, and public spaces
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Work efficiently to meet daily room targets and deadlines
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to lift, bend, push carts, and stand for extended periods
- Basic English communication skills required (French is an asset)
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
