Dynamic Asphalt Services Inc. is looking for a reliable, experienced Class 1 or Class 3 Driver / Roller Operator to join our road repair crew for the final 8–10 weeks of the 2026 season.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled commercial driver who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, travelling, and being part of a professional road construction crew.
The Position
The primary responsibility of this position will be operating a smooth drum roller on asphalt spray patching and road repair projects throughout British Columbia and Alberta.
You will also provide backup support for:
- Class 1 and Class 3 driving duties
- Oil tanker and spray patch truck operations
- Gravel and aggregate hauling
- Wheel loader operation
- General road construction and maintenance activities
- Travel and camp moves
- Equipment, truck, and trailer maintenance
- Other duties required to support the crew
This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working hard, travelling, living in crew accommodations, and taking pride in doing the job properly.
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will be:
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Experienced operating heavy equipment
- A licensed Class 1 or Class 3 driver
- Comfortable driving commercial vehicles in highway and mountain conditions
- Mechanically inclined and able to identify equipment problems
- A strong team player with good communication skills
- Safety-conscious with good common sense
- Comfortable working long days outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Willing to travel throughout British Columbia and Alberta
- Comfortable living in shared travel trailer accommodations
- Able to work independently and follow directions
- Fit for duty
A clean driver's abstract is required. Previous experience in road construction, asphalt, gravel hauling, spray patching, or operating a wheel loader is considered a strong asset.

This is a seasonal road construction position where the crew works remotely and travels together. Must be fit for duty while working. The use or possession of illegal drugs or controlled substances during employment, including while working, travelling for work, operating company vehicles or equipment, or staying in company-provided accommodations, is strictly prohibited.
This position is best suited to someone who takes pride in their work, wants to finish the season strong, and can be counted on by the rest of the crew.
