Daycare handler (part-time)
Must be available :
Shifts are 7-1 or 11-6
Monday-Fridays (2 shifts per week)
Sundays split shifts 7am and back at 3pm
Duties:
-2 (30 min dog walks per shift)
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for dogs in the daycare
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime and activities
- Plan and implement developmental appropriate mental and physical activities
- Assist with feedings, bathing, nail trims and overall care of all dogs
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with dogs is preferred

- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with owners and colleagues
- Ability to multitask and handle the demands of a busy daycare setting
Skills:
- Caregiving: Ability to provide care, support, and supervision to dogs in a daycare setting.
- Educate: Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for the group
Education: Knowledge of principles and practices related to reward based handling and training
must be able to stand entire shift. Work in a fast paced environment.
