Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Use Squirrel POS systems for order entry and processing transactions efficiently.
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations when needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Manage multiple tables and bar stations simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with food service when required.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Squirrel POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests promptly.
