Russel Metals Inc. is currently seeking an individual for the position of Inside Sales Representative in our Edmonton, AB. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales Support: Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and assist with order processing to ensure seamless buying experience.
- Account Management: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, building value for customers while driving sales growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the scheduling, warehouse and operations team to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and customer feedback to anticipate market needs and promote new products effectively.
- Receiving/Inventory Control: Assist with receiving goods and managing inventory levels.
- Supporting accurate inventory counts and administrative records
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with metal processing and ability to read drawings an asset.
- Proven experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in Steel Industry will be a consideration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
