Nurse Injector — Subtle Enhancements
Location: Parkdale, West Toronto Schedule: Every other weekend, Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 11-3 back to back, with room to grow into more hours based on bookings. We're trialing Sunday coverage, and weekend availability is a non-negotiable for this role. Compensation: $40–50/hour based on RN/RPN designation and experience, plus monthly bonus systems beginning after 3 months.
About us
Subtle Enhancements is a nurse-led cosmetic medicine and skin clinic in Parkdale. Our philosophy is simple: beauty that keeps you looking like you. We want our clients to look refreshed and like themselves, not obviously treated, and we'd rather tell someone they don't need a treatment than sell them one they don't.
Our team is small right now: two patient care coordinators, three nurses (Hilary and Claudia in Toronto, Arlena in Whitby), and one medical aesthetician/permanent makeup artist. We're growing, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
This is a role for someone who genuinely wants to help build a small business, not just work a shift. We're figuring things out as we grow, which means some rolling with the punches, some pivoting, and a lot of room to bring your own ideas, help set up standard operating procedures, and shape how treatments get delivered.
Who we're looking for
You've got some injecting experience, a good base to work from, but you don't need to have it all figured out yet. A few months in with us and you'll be much more proficient, and depending on your experience level, we may be able to offer some mentorship along the way.
Beyond the technical skill, we're hiring on personality first. You genuinely want to work with us specifically, not just any clinic. You're comfortable being on camera and creating social content, that's part of the role here. And weekend availability isn't flexible for this position, so it needs to work for your life right now.
You're in good standing with the CNO and carry professional liability insurance for aesthetics (CNPS), and you hold a certificate in Botox and filler training.
What you'll be working with
- Full face neuromodulator treatments
- Dermal filler across the lower face
- Biostimulators like Sculptra and Radiesse
- Microneedling with PRP (comfort with blood draws needed)
- Vitamin injections
- Laser or RF microneedling experience are assets, not requirements
- Skincare lines including SkinCeuticals, EltaMD, and Colorescience
Day to day
- Building personalized treatment plans and making sure clients understand and follow their homecare
- Meticulous charting on concerns, treatment plans, and products used or recommended
- Helping clients understand the products and services we offer through education
- Keeping treatment and retail spaces clean and presentable
- Helping fill schedule gaps in advance and manage inventory for your services
- Contributing to our social media content
- Working closely with our medical aesthetician and the rest of the nursing team on shared care plans
- Helping us build out standard operating procedures for injection treatments as we grow
