Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Chiropractor with a minimum of 2–5 years of clinical experience. You will provide on site care at our Calgary, AB clinic, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Day to day responsibilities will include conducting thorough patient histories and physical examinations, interpreting clinical findings, and developing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans. You will perform manual adjustments and related therapeutic techniques, educate patients on posture, ergonomics, exercise, and lifestyle modifications, and collaborate with other practitioners to coordinate integrated care plans.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical expertise in the spine and musculoskeletal system, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage a range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Proficiency in chiropractic techniques and adjustments, including safe, effective manual therapies tailored to individual patient needs.
- Solid foundation in medicine related concepts relevant to chiropractic care, including anatomy, biomechanics, pathology, and evidence-informed practice.
- Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution and eligibility for licensure, or current good standing with the appropriate chiropractic regulatory body in Alberta.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient centered care, including excellent communication, active listening, and clear patient education skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and to coordinate care with other health and fitness professionals.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including accurate charting and effective time management in a busy clinical setting.
- Willingness to build and maintain a patient caseload, including participation in community engagement and practice development activities.
- Current professional liability insurance and up to date CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience or interest in chronic pain management, sports injuries, rehabilitation, or functional health is considered an asset.
