Salary: $39.00 to $42.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Tasks
· Supervise, plan, assign, and review the work of warehouse staff engaged in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventory of materials, parts, and products.
· Coordinate material handling activities, including counting, weighing, sorting, packing, unpacking, and order preparation in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
· Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and operates efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory control.
· Generate and maintain reports on inventory levels, warehouse productivity, and employee performance.
· Oversee the receipt of deliveries by verifying incoming shipments, inspecting goods, and maintaining accurate receiving records.
· Organize and conduct warehouse training sessions to ensure employees understand operational procedures and safety requirements.
· Process purchasing-related transactions and coordinate warehouse workflow to support operational needs.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety standards, and security procedures, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
· Investigate and resolve warehouse operational issues, inventory discrepancies, and employee concerns by implementing corrective actions and process improvements.
· Train, coach, and mentor warehouse employees in job duties, equipment operation, and safe work practices.
· Requisition warehouse supplies and materials to maintain uninterrupted operations.
· Monitor the condition and operation of warehouse equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repairs when required.
· Conduct employee performance evaluations and communicate performance results and recommendations to management.
· Perform warehouse operational duties as required, including operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, store, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
Employment Requirements:
· Completion of secondary school is required.
· Completion of a two- to three-year post-secondary program in business, supply chain management, production, manufacturing management, or a related field is considered an asset.
· A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related warehouse or supervisory role is required.
Benefits
As per employment standard act, 10days vacation annually or 4% vacation pay o gross salary will be paid each period.
