Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional and courteous manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts issuance
- Manage cash register operations, including balancing drawers and reconciling transactions at shift end
- Provide product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote featured items
- Address customer inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication and active listening skills
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly and confidently
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail merchandising standards
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage customers positively
- Experience with upselling techniques and technical sales, especially related to technology products or demos is advantageous
- Multilingual capabilities are highly valued for serving a diverse clientele
