What will you do?
- Work alongside the developers to help develop and perform integration tests to ensure the code meets the defined acceptance criteria
- Designing tests to mitigate risks and helping business experts define requirements
- Create and run exploratory tests
- Assist other developers with debugging, or additional testing as required
- Enhance and maintain the device testing lab
- Work with the product team to understand/clarify feature requirements and help develop acceptance criteria
What will you need to succeed?
- Pursuing Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline
- Writing black box and GUI test cases
- Understanding of basic network communication and protocols sockets packets TCPIP/UDP
- Experience writing simple SQL queries and insert/update statements and basic grasp of SQL Server, PostgreSQL or another relational databas
- Knowledge of basic UNIX and Windows commands bash and CMD Unix shell scripting skills is a plus
- Experience collaborating on some level with programmers and business experts
- Experience in context-based exploratory or scenario testing is an asset
- Ability to work as part of a self-directed team in which you determine your tasks on a daily basis in coordination with co-workers rather than waiting for work to be assigned to you
- Knowledge of SCADA communications is an asset
- Knowledge of Ethernet switches and routers, .NET, JUnit, NUnit, C/C++, Test-Driven Development is an asset
