Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes and assisted living facilities. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. This role is vital in supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as dementia or medication management. Prior experience in nursing homes or home care settings is preferred, but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients of all ages
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques to prevent falls or injuries
- Engage clients in recreational activities or exercises suitable for their condition
- Follow care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia or disability-specific routines
Skills
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care settings preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for travel between client locations

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
