Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Prior experience in construction, plumbing, or appliance repair is highly valued, along with familiarity with schematics and mechanical systems.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Perform ductwork installation and sealing to ensure optimal system performance
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to verify proper operation
- Assist with maintenance and repair of existing HVAC units as needed
- Use welding, plumbing, and mechanical skills to modify or adapt systems during installation
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for accurate setup
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly handle tools and equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related mechanical fields such as plumbing, welding, or appliance repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with boilers, schematics, and construction practices
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Experience with maintenance tasks and mechanic work preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and system troubleshooting techniques
- Construction experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment effectively
- Valid driver’s license required for travel between job sites
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work at heights, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
