Service Associate – Thirty (30) Temporary Part Time
(Appoximately 6 months or until operational needs)
HOURS: Currently Evenings/Nights (8 Hours), Rotating Weekends & Public Holidays
(Subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
As a member of the Environmental Services Housekeeping team, the Service Associate is primarily responsible for providing a clean and safe environment.
Grade 12 or equivalent
Ability to read, write and speak English
One (1) year housekeeping/cleaning experience, preferably in Health Care environment
Ability to be standing/walking for extended periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive activities such as lifting (up to 42 lbs, 8-16 KG), reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, walking and occasionally climbing ladders as required
Must be able to pass a physical assessment
Must be able to work where exposed to infection, blood/human waste, odors and work interruptions
Ability to process information, organize and prioritize tasks
Ability to work without direct supervision in team environment
Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record required
May be required to travel between and work at all hospital campuses
Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Minimum: $23.99 per hour
Maximum: $24.54 per hour
