Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment for our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft or vandalism, and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, integrity, and a professional demeanor to uphold the security standards of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including alarms, disturbances, or accidents
- Enforce access control procedures by checking identification and maintaining visitor logs
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting incidents appropriately
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and security breaches
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize potential threats or suspicious activity
- Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure during emergencies or conflicts
- Must pass background checks and any required training certifications
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $17.20-$26.83 per hour
