Sunrex Management Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Student to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in accounting, finance, business administration, or office management to gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional office environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to:
- Processing vendor invoices for payment
- Maintaining online supplier accounts
- Creating internal invoices as required
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and reports
- Assisting with work order processing
- Filing and organizing documents
- Providing general administrative support to the accounting and property management teams
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous office or accounting experience is considered an asset but is not required

- Valid Police Information Check required prior to employment
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
