Proton Learning Centre is seeking a qualified, reliable, and enthusiastic High School Math Teacher to join our teaching team.
Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to students in Grades 9–12
- Teach courses including Functions, Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly and help students develop strong problem-solving skills
- Prepare students for school tests, exams, and assessments
- Provide individual support to students when needed
- Maintain a positive, organized, and engaging classroom environment
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario High School Mathematics Curriculum
- University degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Education, or a related field
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills
- Ability to teach senior-level Mathematics is a strong asset
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to student success
Schedule
- Part-time
- Weekday evenings 4.30-8.30
- In-person teaching at our Scarborough location
Compensation
Starting from $19 depending on qualifications and teaching experience.
