Glowing Embers RV Park and Travel Center Inc. is seeking a reliable, skilled In-House Maintenance & Repair Technician to keep our small laundry facility running at peak performance. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on washers and dryers to identify potential issues early
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, switches, and wiring to restore appliance functionality
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure work environment
- Assist with assembling new appliances or parts as needed for upgrades or installations
- Document maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used accurately in logs
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements
- Demonstrated electrical experience with troubleshooting wiring, circuits, and control panels
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems
- Experience with appliance repair, including washers and dryers or similar household appliances
- Basic understanding of schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals for diagnostics
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to read assembly instructions and perform minor assembly tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when necessary
