Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Cleaning Worker to join our team at United Chargers. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organized facility. This position has a consistent daytime schedule and requires balancing routine facility upkeep with a detailed end-of-shift cleanup after operations end.
Shift Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Cleaning Areas & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining specific zones across the facility throughout your shift:
- Production & Assembly Lines: Maintain 4 main assembly lines and 1 support line. You will remove bulky cardboard and packaging during the day, and perform a complete trash reset and floor sweep around the stations at 4:00 PM once production stops.
- Washrooms: Clean and disinfect 4 washrooms (1 large men's, 1 large women's, and 2 small unisex washrooms). This includes scrubbing fixtures, mopping floors, and restocking supplies multiple times a day.
- Kitchens & Break Rooms: Maintain 2 kitchens (1 large production/warehouse kitchen and 1 small administrative kitchen). Responsibilities include wiping tables, counters, cleaning microwaves, and emptying trash after busy periods.
- Warehouse Floors & Aisles: Follow a weekly schedule to clean heavy-traffic pedestrian routes, storage aisles, rack surroundings, and shipping/receiving areas.
- Office & Entrance Areas: Gather daily office trash, dust desks and shared surfaces, and clear out waste from secondary areas and corners.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility, warehouse, or industrial environment is required.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to comfortably lift, push, pull, and carry at least 30 to 40 lbs regularly.
- Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, sweep, and mop for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
- Reliability: Strong track record of punctuality and consistent attendance for weekday shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow a timed daily routine to ensure all areas are completed on time.
- Education: No formal education or degrees required; we value a great work ethic and a desire to keep a clean workplace.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
