As the Field Service Coordinator, you will be joining a fast-paced business as part of the Eastern Canada Field services team. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within the field of electrical equipment service. You will gain exposure supporting the team and assist the greater organization in achieving its annual goals and objectives as an active participant.
Provide scheduling & coordination support to assigned projects through inquiry stage to final invoicing.
Open service projects in SAP
Coordinate with the customer and ABB resources to schedule the work
Complete the pre-job mobilization and HSE planning, with HSE supporting team
Schedule resources, equipment/tools to perform job and provide handoffs so everyone is clear on their scope, duration, location and job number
Working with the site job leader, coordinate the work to be performed in accordance with the proposal and job cost estimate
Plan and request purchasing for material, internal services, and contractor services
Plan, organize & track testing equipment needs and other tools
Ensure final report, test sheets and recommendations for customer at the close of the job are completed promptly
Provide commercial support to assigned projects through inquiry to final invoicing.
Interface with customers for initial or general enquiries
This requires ability to review proposal and job cost estimate and validate with customer PO
Ensure work scope gets fully completed and manage change orders with customer as appropriate
Complete billing sheet and ensure billing accuracy
Plan EHS & technical training
Attend project coordination meetings as requested or required
Work closely under the leadership of the Service Manager to learn ABB’s systems and methods.
Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested by supervision.
Organized, solution oriented, resourceful
Positive customer service orientation, with both internal and external clients is required.
Strong oral and written communications skills in French and the ability to apply appropriate communication techniques to various individuals.
Strong interpersonal skills are required, demonstrating a consistent commitment and ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals.
Self-starter with the initiative and energy to make things happen quickly
