We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and machinery, including cars, trucks, excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, HVAC systems, and industrial equipment.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and specialized diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine tune-ups, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for repairs or testing purposes.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines to ensure excellent customer service.
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of mechanical components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks safely while adhering to industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems and industrial equipment.
- Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; relevant hands-on experience is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience working with heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, HVAC units, or similar industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Mechanical knowledge across various systems including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
- Strong troubleshooting skills coupled with the ability to read technical schematics accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to automotive repair or heavy equipment operation are advantageous but not required.
