Overview
Lemon and Oak Counseling: Individual spaces located on urban reserve. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Counsellors/Psychologists/Social Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will provide mental health support and therapy to diverse client populations, including individuals, couples and families. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through evidence-based practices and collaborative care. This role will be contracted in as an independent contractor. Ability to manage own schedules with the support of our administrative team.
Duties
- Provide ethical individual, couples, family counseling sessions using evidence based therapeutic approaches.
- Conduct client assessments to identify mental health concerns, treatment needs and goals.
- Develop, implement, and regularity review treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Adhere to all code of ethics as per regulatory body.
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions, as needed.
- Provide possible crisis interventions and risk assessments
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team
- Provide psychoeducational tools to clients
- Maintain continuing education according to regulatory body regulations.
- Participate in regular supervision, case consultations.
- Facilitate referrals to external services when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current registration in good standing (or eligibility for registration) with one of the following regulatory bodies in Saskatchewan: Saskatchewan College of Psychologists, Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers, Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (or another recognized professional body, where applicable).
- Successful completion of a criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check
- Proof of current professional liability insurance (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Demonstrated adherence to ethical standards, professional guidelines, and scope of practice requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a Psychotherapist or Mental Health Professional.
- Skills and abilites to work independently within a team.
- Prefer minimum 2+years experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Compassionate approach with excellent patient care skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Note: Practice is located on an urban reserve; individuals who meet eligibility criteria under applicable legislation (e.g., the Indian Ac) may qualify for certain tax exemptions

Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
