We currently have an opportunity available for a Captain, LR45 . Reporting to the Chief Pilot, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:
- The Lear 45 Captain is responsible for the proficient and safe operation of the Lear 45 aircraft.
- Perform all required duties and responsibilities associated with the Lear 45 aircraft.
- Strictly adhere to safety regulations in accordance with company requirements, Transport Canada, and CARs (Civil Aviation Regulations).
- Execute any additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot.
- LR45 pilots follow a structured schedule of 12 days on duty followed by 5 consecutive days off.
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies. In addition personality profiling will be required of all candidates granted an interview for this position.
- Must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence, along with a valid Instrument and Type rating (if required).
- 3,500 hours Total Time.
- 2,000 hours PIC.
- 2,000hours Multi-Engine.
- 1,500 hours Multi PIC.
- 200 hours jet.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience on the Lear 45.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service abilities.
- Possess strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit good organizational and time management skills.
- Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Sunwest’s Safety Management System manual.
