Typical Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck forklifts in warehouse and distribution environments.
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials and finished products.
- Perform put-away, replenishment, and order-picking functions.
- Transport materials throughout the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties when needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck experience.
- Must have at least one professional reference.
- Valid External forklift certification.
- Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
- Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
Preferred Experience:
- Raymond Reach, Crown Reach, Double Deep Reach, or Order Picker experience.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
- Inventory control and RF scanner experience.
- Cross-docking and high-volume warehouse experience.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers.
- SAP, WMS, or other inventory management system experience considered an asset.
