Glen Motors is seeking a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This position will be responsible for supporting the company's day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, attendance management, and general employee relations.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese and have previous experience in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage job postings across various recruitment platforms
- Review resumes and screen potential candidates
- Conduct initial phone interviews and coordinate in-person interviews
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Prepare offer letters and other employment-related documents
- Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files
- Prepare employment letters, contracts, notices, and other HR documentation
- Track employee attendance, vacation, sick days, and other leave requests
- Maintain and update internal HR records and employee information
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Support payroll preparation by maintaining accurate attendance and employee information
- Ensure HR documents and records are properly organized and maintained
Employee Relations & HR Support
- Serve as a point of contact for general employee questions and HR-related matters
- Assist management with employee communication and workplace matters
- Support performance reviews, probationary reviews, and employee documentation
- Assist with the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
- Help ensure employees understand and follow company policies
- Handle employee and company information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
General Administration
- Provide administrative support to management when required
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and internal documents
- Coordinate meetings and maintain HR-related schedules and deadlines
- Assist with other HR and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Human Resources, recruitment, or HR administration
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken
- Strong understanding of recruitment and employee administration processes
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of Canada/Ontario employment standards and HR practices is strongly preferred
- Experience in the automotive industry is considered an asset
