We are experiencing strong growth in our Shallow Utilities division and are looking for 3 experienced Senior Labourers to join our team.

The Role
As a Senior Labourer, you will play a key hands-on role in our shallow utility projects (water, sewer, storm, gas). You’ll work alongside our Foreman and operators to deliver high-quality underground infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and backfill water, sewer, storm, and gas lines
- Support trenching, pipe laying, and service tie-ins
- Operate hand tools, compaction equipment, and small machinery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site
- Mentor and support junior labourers
- Participate in daily safety meetings and FLHAs
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in shallow utilities or civil construction
- Strong understanding of underground utility installation
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy manual labour
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (clean abstract preferred)
- CSTS 2020, Ground Disturbance, and WHMIS (preferred)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work outdoors in all weather
