Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cannabis Associate (Budtender) to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our dispensary, vital in delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting responsible cannabis use. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with product selection while providing knowledgeable, friendly guidance.
- Education: Educate customers on the effects, benefits, and safe usage of various cannabis products.
- Sales & Upselling: Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive store sales.
- POS & Cash Handling: Operate POS systems (Cova) accurately for all transactions and manage cash handling and receipts efficiently.
- Compliance: Uphold strict compliance with all local legal regulations and company policies.
- Daily Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dispensary environment. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Inventory Management: Assist with regular inventory counts, audit stock levels accurately, and report any discrepancies to management to ensure compliance and prevent loss
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in retail sales or customer service.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (English/French) are highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and basic math skills. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and stand for extended periods.
