- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and other HVAC components
- Install electrical wiring and controls for HVAC systems
- Connect HVAC systems to fuel and water supply lines
- Test installed systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet safety standards
- Provide training and guidance to junior HVAC technicians
Requirements:
Must have a Gas Technician 2 license along with:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
