What You Will Do:
Prepare and assist in the review of journal entries to record foreign exchange revaluation and other compensative income transactions in a timely manner for the monthly general ledger (G/L) close processes.
Prepare and assist in the review of account reconciliations; debt and hedge accounting analysis of corporate results.
Support the interface between treasury and hedge Openlink Accounting Desktop and Oracle.
Ensure that all SOX controls pertaining to monthly GL close process are being maintained for corporate entities.
Provide ad hoc query support on various financial issues relating to corporate ledgers.
Work closely with the Cash Management and Banking team as well as the Risk Control team to process enterprise-wide system generated journal entries.
Build good working relationships with Finance groups in subsidiaries; use indirect facilitative leadership skills to achieve common objectives and goals.
Maintain an awareness of current US GAAP accounting pronouncements through professional development programs and courses.
Who You Are:
You will have the following education and experience:
Finance or related university degree and/or professional designation.
4+ years prior accounting/finance or directly related experience.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
Previous experience with Oracle Financials / SAP / Hyperion Financial Management / SmartView / Essbase.
Excellent computer skills including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel).
Outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills combined with a results-oriented business approach.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle several project deadlines concurrently.
Proven team player, demonstrating a high level of cooperation and mutual respect.
