The Property Management team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Building Operator for in Humboldt.
As an important member of our service-oriented team, you will complete regularly scheduled preventative and as required building maintenance, coordinate, manage and supervise a team of three as well as seasonal student placements and the services provided by contractors or subcontractors.
This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with ministry safety standards and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Employment Standards.
We are looking for a problem solver and a leader with proven ability and interest in supervising employees and performing maintenance procedures. The ideal candidate will bring a Fireman’s Certification and Refrigeration Operators Certificate or 5th Class Engineers Certification as well as at least two years experience in building maintenance, heating, cooling and ventilation systems. Experience in DDC controls would be an asset and a valid driver’s license is required.
