The ideal candidate for Front Office Supervisor should have excellent time management skills, a passion for hospitality and naturally takes the extra step to ensure a memorable experience for guests by providing exceptional service and Hospitality Like Never Before.
The Front Office Supervisors are a crucial component in the smooth operation of the Guest Services Department by assisting the front-line staff and other departments whenever needed to ensure exceptional guest service satisfaction.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Train and assist the guest services department ensuring all balance their shift.
-Create a strong team through training and coaching employees to reflect Four Points by Sheraton procedures and Marriott Brand standards.
-Exhibit and support a team focused positive attitude with all hotel departments and colleagues.
-Analyze, investigate, and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner.
-Train staff on Service Recovery/resolution
-Act as a concierge assisting clients as needed.
-Support the catering department with meeting bookings and set up as required.
-Work with team bookings, group blocks.
-Work to become the “System Expert” with – LightSpeed PMS
-Act as a safety ambassador and ensure all staff follow safety protocol.
-Complete other hotel duties as assigned.
-Be compliant with all DP Murphy employee policies and procedures.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous guest service experience, ideally in a hotel setting.
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
- Bilingual ( French/English)
- Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills; innovative, resourceful and results oriented
- Professional, engaging and strong verbal communicator
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without supervision while working effectively with internal and external guests
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Good computer knowledge
- Learn/adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
