Job Summary
Kellermeier Contracting is looking for an experienced Capital Projects Manager to lead the planning and execution of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial planning through completion while ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements.
This role works closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate project activities, manage resources, and support the successful delivery of multiple capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage capital construction projects from pre-construction through project completion.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans while monitoring overall project performance.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout all project phases.
- Monitor project costs, approve expenditures, and help maintain budget targets.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation to ensure work is completed according to requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
- Identify project risks and resolve issues that may affect schedules, budgets, or project performance.
- Prepare project reports, forecasts, and progress updates for senior management and clients.
- Support procurement activities, contract administration, and change order management.
- Lead project meetings and maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
- Mentor project coordinators and site personnel while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Capital Projects Manager, Senior Project Manager, Construction Manager, or a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial, industrial, or civil construction projects.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or similar project management software.
- Good understanding of construction methods, contract administration, and project controls.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP designation, Gold Seal Certification, or other construction-related certifications are considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: $90,705.80-$97,345.16 per year
