Job purpose
This person is the guest’s first and last point of contact. They provide exceptional customer service and professional interaction with the customer and help ensure their overall enjoyment while at the club.
Duties and responsibilities
· To serve the needs of the members and guests in accordance with the operational and health & safety policies and procedures outlined in the Cobble Beach Golf Links orientation manual, policies and procedures booklet and your detailed job description.
· Interacting with members and guests on a constant basis
· Retrieving, cleaning, and storing of members golf clubs
· Cleaning, preparing and organizing a fleet of 75 golf carts, beverage cart, range cart and utility carts
· Setting up, maintaining, and cleaning of the practice facilities
· Assist with the set up of all golf related events
· Assume the role of Golf Course Starter and Golf Course Player Assistant as required
· Assist other departments as required
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
· Knowledge of golf is an asset
· Committed to working in a high pace team environment
· Friendly and Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
· Exceptional oral communication skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Class G drivers license
· Willing and able to work a variety of shifts (Early mornings, mid-day, evenings, weekends and holidays)
Working conditions
This is an outside position, in variable weather conditions.
Physical requirements
This person must be able to move quickly, be on their feet for the duration of their shift, and lift upwards of 50 lbs.
