Overview
We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and customer service. This role requires an artistic eye for arranging flowers and plants, as well as the ability to engage with customers to create memorable floral experiences. The Floral Designer will be responsible for crafting beautiful arrangements for various occasions while maintaining an organized and inviting retail environment.
Duties
- Design and create floral arrangements for various events, including weddings, funerals, and special occasions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
- Maintain knowledge of current floral trends, techniques, and seasonal availability of flowers.
- Manage inventory by stocking supplies, handling cash transactions, and utilizing POS systems effectively.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area and retail space.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and plant care is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in design work and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a bonus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
