Allfine Security is looking for Qualified and Experienced Onsite Service Technicians to join our team. Security services include: CCTV, Intercom, Access, and Alarm & Fire
Our automation division, Allfine Automation, is also looking for Qualified and Experienced Onsite Service Technicians with experience in Audio/Video, Media Rooms, Theatre Rooms, Video Walls, Smart Lighting and Networking.
Technician must be familiar with pulling cable, fishing wires and working with building codes and standards.
Electrical experience is preferred.
Must know how to physically install and wire Hardware.
Programming knowledge is not required.

Your new role
As the Security Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and installations to the commercial, residential and industrial sectors throughout Toronto and the GTA. Your day to day responsibilities will include responding to requests; comply with codes, regulations and governmental agencies related to the work and safety code standards; manage different task such as: alarm installation, inspection, updates and recommendations; maintain good relationships with all clients; and ensure the overall smooth and on-going operations of the alarm systems and its maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation and installation of loss prevention and associated technologies.
- Smart Lighting and systems
- CCTV installation and troubleshooting including: cameras, DVR, NVR and video matrix systems.
- Troubleshooting and testing of control panels, hardware and software issues.
- Diagnosing and correcting issues with the network electronic systems and software.
- Ensure proper service and maintenance of hardware including installing and configuring hardware and software related to loss prevention.
- Replacement and repair of analog and digital hardware
- Serve as liaison among customer and technical staff for all relevant retail loss prevention technology.
- Identity and repair hardware issues in a POS environment: replace scanners, scales, pin pads, printers and work stations
- Install, fish, dress, cross connect and terminate UTP, co-axial and fibre cable.
What you'll need to succeed
to succeed in this role you will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar environment. Must have a strong knowledge of 12V, 24V and 120V systems.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Good communication skills in English.
Qualifications:
- Three years of experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing analog and digital/IP CCTV camera systems or similar systems
- Knowledge of video security systems, access control systems, analog and electronic technology or electrical background
- Experience with network or structured cabling
- Familiar working in either a residential, commercial or industrial environment
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service and leadership skills and strong understanding of SLAs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must possess valid driver’s license and clean abstract
- Able and willing to work revolving day/night shifts and required standby service
- Can work independently and coordinate with other technical resources and support teams as needed.
- Able to lift up to 50-75 pounds, climb ladders, and operate lifts
