Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a range of construction skills to contribute to the successful completion of building interiors.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Perform surface preparation tasks such as sanding.
- Maintain a clean work environment and safely operate hand tools and power equipment
- Assist with other handyman or construction tasks as needed to support project completion
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, drywall installation is highly preferred
- Construction experience demonstrating familiarity with safety protocols and building codes
- General handyman experience is a plus for versatile task handling
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Pay: $17.67-$19.00 per hour
