Dairy Queen is looking for energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Crew Members to join our team. Crew Members are responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food and frozen treats according to Dairy Queen standards, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring every guest has a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
- Prepare and serve Dairy Queen menu items, including burgers, fries, chicken, hot dogs, Blizzard® treats, ice cream, and beverages.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, equipment, and washrooms.
- Restock food, packaging, and supplies as needed.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work effectively with team members to ensure fast and efficient service.
- Follow all company policies, health and safety regulations, and manager instructions.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
