Job Description
We are looking for a creative and hands-on robotics designer who is skilled in 3D modeling, CAD design, 3D printing, and mechanical robot building. The ideal candidate should be able to design, prototype, test, and improve robot parts and full robot structures using CAD software and 3D printing tools.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building, experimenting, problem-solving, and turning creative ideas into real working robots.
Main Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for designing and building custom robot parts, mechanical structures, chassis, mounts, gears, arms, wheels, sensor holders, and other robotic components.
They should be able to create designs using CAD software, prepare files for 3D printing, operate and troubleshoot 3D printers, assemble prototypes, and improve designs after testing.
They will also help students or team members understand basic robot design, mechanical systems, and prototyping.
