We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pizza Cook to join our team. As the Pizza Chef you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering a high-quality experience to our guests.
Key items you will do and be required to monitor in this role are listed below:
- Opening and closing the store
- Prepare, to PQ standards, high-quality pizzas
- Manager deliveries and orders within specified pick-up time
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume store setting
- Preparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings, such as tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats
- Monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times.
- Preparing high-quality pizzas according to company recipes
- Monitoring inventory
- Plating or packaging pizzas accordingly
- Managing all food order slips and ensuring that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Uphold high customer service standards
- Communicate and monitor staff performance
- Ability to work quickly, in teams, or alone
Role Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Love working in kitchen
- A food handler’s license is needed and will be given to You!
- Proven food preparation and food handling experience.
- Working knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- The ability to follow standardized recipes.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
