Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver freight efficiently and on schedule.
Flatbed experience required in any of the following; lumber, stone, construction and jobsite materials, precast concrete etc.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance freight deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise
- Complete short or long trips in Ontario and sometimes Quebec
Skills
- Valid AZ
- Experience operating forklifts preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
