As the organization prepares to open a new elderly group home, we are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support clinical planning and provide leadership during this important development phase.
The Opportunity
Bridge of Hope Care Inc. is seeking a Launch Phase Clinical Consultant (Registered Nurse) to support the development and successful opening of a new elderly group home.
This role is suited to a highly experienced RN with strong clinical judgment, leadership capability, and experience supporting structured care environments. The consultant will assist in developing clinical systems, preparing staff, and ensuring the home is operationally ready for resident care. The Consultant must be prepared to travel to other site locations as required.
During the initial three-month phase, the Clinical Consultant will work closely with leadership to establish care processes, clinical standards, and operational readiness. Following opening, there is potential for this role to transition into a paid clinical leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development of clinical workflows, care processes, and resident-centered care standards
- Assist in establishing documentation, medication, and safety protocols
- Contribute to policy and procedure development for operational readiness
- Support staff onboarding, training, and competency development
- Provide input into resident assessment and care planning processes
- Support preparation for resident admissions and safe operational launch
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Act as a clinical resource during the transition from development to operations
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings extensive nursing experience, including:
- 10+ years of Registered Nursing experience with strong clinical judgment and experience in elderly, complex, and/or vulnerable populations
- A strong level of experience (5+ years) in nursing leadership, education, mentorship, staff development, or clinical coordination
- Experience supporting healthcare teams through training, education, and implementation of clinical best practices
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Experience working with elderly populations and individuals with complex health needs
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and healthcare providers
- Experience contributing to quality improvement, policy development, workflow improvement, or healthcare program development
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and support the development of a new care environment
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) registration in good standing
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of experience in seniors’ care, community nursing, supportive living, or complex care environments
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare education, staff training, or mentorship
- Experience developing clinical processes, policies, procedures, or care standards
- Experience supporting healthcare operations, program development, or service implementation
- Previous charge nurse, supervisory, or clinical resource experience
