Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to seniors in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized support and assistance. This role requires a blend of caregiving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers as needed, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervising staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care, senior care, or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with dementia or other cognitive challenges is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate approach to caregiving, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
